Just this week the rapper Aka was celebrating a couple of his songs going Diamond and Multi-Platinum. Yesterday was yet another milestone worth a celebration.
He earned himself a seven-figure endorsement deal with Reebok in 2017 and finally yesterday the 26th of October he released his line of custom designed retro flair classic sneakers (SneAKA) which have his nickname “Supa Mega” embedded on the back. He says owning his own shoe line has been his dream since he was 12 years old and finally the dream came true.
The sneakers cost R1299, 99 a pair and only 600 pairs were released yesterday, by 13:30 only 120 pairs were left. He again posted today that there’s approximately 20 to 30 pairs left for them to be completely sold out. Definitely an outstanding achievement for AKA.
Next week Saturday the 2nd of November is an “Aka Orchestra Ethekwini” event and nothing would make more sense than to pull up walking on SneAkas.
